Our school celebrated the completion of its Diamond Jubilee(1960- 2020 ) and inaugurated the Diamond Jubilee Block built exclusively for the nursery and primary children to commemorate the grand event on 15 November, 2021 at 5 p.m.
The dignitaries were led by beautiful flower girls from the primary and smartly dressed marching band led by Hinduja T. A plaque was unveiled by the Bishop of Salem Most Rev. Dr Arulselvam Rayappan and The Diamond Jubilee Block was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Thiru. S. Karmegam I.A.S, District Collector, Salem. The building was blessed by Most Rev. Dr. Arulselvam Rayappan, Bishop of Salem. Thiru. T. Christuraj I.A.S, Commisioner of Salem Corporation inaugurated the classrooms and Thiru. S. R. Parthiban., M.P., Salem opened the computer lab. Dr. R. Murugan, Chief Educational Officer, Salem and Tmt. L. Sumathi, District Educational Officer, Salem(Rural) were also the Guests of Honour
. The Nanette Park with swings, merry-go-round and climb and crawl caterpillar was inaugurated by the Thiru M. A. Uthayakumar District Educational Officer, Salem(Urban). A prayer hall was opened by Rev. Sr. Norah, Cluny Provincial Superior, South Central Province .
The new open air auditorium was inaugurated by Thiru. R. Rajendran, MLA, Salem North. The Diamond Jubilee Magazine Cover was also released by Thiru. M. A. Uthayakumar District Educational Officer, Salem(Urban) & Thiru. S. Karmegam I.A.S, District Collector, Salem. Moral Science book Cover from Std I to XII, and text book for Std I was released by Rev. Sr. Norah, Cluny Provincial Superior, South Central Province and received by Sr. Angela, Former past provincial Cluny .
The dignitaries were honoured with a ponnadai by the correspondent of Cluny and Sr. Roselyn Principal presented a memento thanking everyone for their presence during the momentous celebration. All the dignitaries conveyed their greetings and addressed the gathering. Principal Sr. Roselyn thanked everyone for their presence and support.
The evening concluded with an entertainment programme followed by a grand dinner hosted by the school.
