The day started off on a celebratory note as three teachers and one akka celebrated their Silver Jubilee on 23.04.2022 for completing 25 years of unparalleled service.
Mrs. Annie Nirmala Aruldoss, Mr. Panneer Selvam M, Mrs. Annie Jane M and Mrs. Parimala M were the silver jubilarians for the event. Master Sam son of Late. Mrs. Beulah Gnanabhooshanam also joined us as his mother too would have celebrated this day had it not been for her untimely demise. Family members of all the celebrants attended the function with joy and happiness. Sr. Norah, Provincial was the guest for the occasion .
The celebrants along with their family members were welcomed at the gate by Sr. Norah, Provincial, Sr. Leema, Correspondent and Sr. Roselyn, Principal of the school . The formal welcome consisting of Kumbha Arathi, Sandal wood Garland, Kumkum, Chandanam and the pinning of the badge was carried out by different teachers with great joy and pleasure. The celebrants were then led to the dais as the flower girls beautifully dressed in pink coloured gowns welcomed them with flowers and a Namaste. Teachers stood on either side and clapped for the jubilarians.
The formal function started with a prayer service and a prayer song. Then the celebrants were honoured with a ponnadai and gifts from the management, teachers, students and akkas. This was followed by speeches from management, teachers, students and akkas. Sr. Norah, Sr. Roselyn fondly remembered the services that Mrs. Beulah had rendered with great love towards the institution and her students.
Invocation dance, an English play Dr. Hekyll’s Clinic, Recitation by the primary students and a folk dance kept the audience spellbound with their performances. The grand event came to an end with a vote of thanks from Mrs. Annie Nirmala.
After the formal event, a grand mass led by Rev. Fr. Arul Maran created an environment of peace and solitude, as teachers and family members prayed for the prosperity and safety of all. Father spoke about the importance of service and the joy of giving unconditionally. The programme ended ceremoniously with the cake cutting ceremony followed by a grand lunch hosted by the management.
