Every year Jan 24th is celebrated as a "Save Girl Child Day". On behalf of this from Sakthi Kailash Women's College, Salem - 3 Dr. V. L. Sathya., Asst. Prof. & Head of PG & Research Department of English visited our school with 2 of her students D. Namratha, M. Misba of II BBA to give an awareness programme on "Save Girl Child". They discussed about Sexual Abuse, Child Labour, Child Marriage, Female Infanticides etc. They also spoke about harmful effects of Social Media, wrong use of Mobile & Internet, its dangers especially to young girls. It was interesting and useful for our students.
