On the 13th of January 2020 we celebrated Pongal in our school. The programme was given by the primary students. The Chief Guest of the day was Mrs. Rekha Priyadharshini, Ex Mayor of Salem & The Guest of Honour was Mr. T. Thirumanjanam, Physical Director of Govt Hr. Sec. School, Mettur. The Programme started off with lighting of the lamp, Prayer Service, Prayer Song, Invocation Dance, Speech and Skit. This was followed by the prize distribution for the Toppers of various classes. The Diligence prize for various classes was also distributed. The School has a festive look.
